Here is my selection of noteworthy highlights from Microsoft Power BI October 2021 Feature Summary. This release does not have much to offer from where I see it.
Reporting
- Heat Map Layer – Azure maps Visual (Preview)
- We now have a Heap Map section under the format pane to visualise/format heat maps further
DAX
- SWITCH
- Our favourite SWITCH function has gotten performance improvements, something to watch out for !!!
Other
- DAX in a Day
- Microsoft/MS Partners conduct online training like Dashboard in a Day or Virtual Days, we now have DAX in a Day which is focused on advanced users
- I will try to find when is the next one, attend it and provide feedback
